Agriculture Teacher

By the food we eat and the clothes we wear, each of us is involved with agriculture every day. And I have the best job of being able to teach students all about this important industry! Agriculture education is hands-on, fun, and helps prepare students for future careers. My favorite part of teaching agriculture is being able to watch students learn, grow, and succeed. Who else can say that they get to teach students how to weld metal, prevent an animal disease, maintain a greenhouse, and write a speech all in one day? I would encourage every student, regardless of interests and career plans, to take an ag class and become involved in FFA! Ag Education is designed so that every student can have fun, get involved, travel, compete, and learn new skills that are transferable to any career.
Growing up on a cattle ranch in Naples, Idaho, I've had a passion for agriculture ever since I was little! After participating in 4-H and FFA throughout my youth, I studied at the University of Idaho and received a bachelors in Agricultural Education and a minor in Spanish. I now get to live out my dream of being an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor!
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family! My hobbies include studying Spanish, collecting mugs, and buying way too many house plants.
