The Cascade School District and the Cascade American Legion Hall hosted a Zone 5 School Board Trustee Candidate Q&A Session last night. The event was a large success.
Candidates Paula Bartlett and Monica Gokey attended and answered questions posed by our student moderators Grant Whipple and Tyler Thurston. The questions were selected from a list of submitted questions from students, parents, school staff, and community members through an anonymous survey. A few questions were also selected from a list from the Idaho School Board Association and the Cascade Education Association.
Not only did both of the candidates display high levels of professionalism, strength, and character, but they both shared a deep desire to serve the community of Cascade for many years to come. both candidates mentioned the successes of the Cascade School District and the desire to keep things moving in a great direction.
Thank you to the attendees & candidates, the Cascade American Legion, and Mrs. Johnson's Government class for stepping into this role and executing the project to near perfection.
The leadership of the Cascade School District is excited to have two strong candidates that hold these qualities and look forward to seeing what the patrons decide on November 7.
