In the boys basketball districts opener against the Council Lumberjacks, the Ramblers prevailed after a 65-57 victor. The Ramblers started with 3 three - pointers in the first quarter, even though at the end of the first, the score was 15-17. The Ramblers continued to fight through halftime, where Cascade was up 25-22. After halftime, the Ramblers came out fired up, and in the last few seconds of the third quarter, Tyler Thurston shot a 3/4 court shot, making the score 51-37. The Lumberjacks started to fight back in the fourth quarter, coming back by 20 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Ramblers. Your Cascade Ramblers will advance to the District Championship against Garden Valley on Feb. 23. The game will be hosted at McCall-Donnelly High School, at 7:30 pm. Come to support our Ramblers!
