This morning we began to hear second-hand reports from several families and community members that there was a bomb threat at Cascade Schools.
We immediately followed our Reverse Evacuation protocols as we confirmed with the Valley County Sheriff whether or not there was an active threat to the school.
Deputies were dispatched to the school and we confirmed there was no threat to the school. We believe most of these reports stemmed from threats to other schools in Idaho this morning.
The safety and security of our school community is our top priority. If you ever have any questions about how we are investing and continuously working to make sure we meet this goal, please feel free to reach out!

Did you know that Cascade's ASB executive officers attend the Cascade Chamber of Commerce meetings bi-weekly at lunch? This allows them to inform the Chamber about events and changes in our school and to take information back to the students about what is happening in our community.
Yesterday was a working Chamber meeting so they helped the Chamber hang up Christmas lights and banners on main street!
Thank you Chamber for helping make our town look festive!
